Brandon McManus: A Journey in the NFL

Early Life and Career

Brandon Tyler McManus was born on July 25, 1991, in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. He attended Catasauqua High School, where he played football and soccer. In college, McManus attended Temple University, where he was a member of the Owls football team from 2010 to 2014.

Professional Career

After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, McManus signed with the Denver Broncos as a free agent. He made his NFL debut in 2015 and remained with the Broncos for four seasons, during which time he played in Super Bowl 50.

In 2019, McManus was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he spent two seasons. He was released by the Jaguars in 2021 and subsequently signed with the Washington Commanders.

Off-Field Issues

In 2022, McManus was accused of assault and battery. The charges were later dropped, and McManus was not suspended by the NFL. However, he was released by the Commanders shortly after the allegations surfaced.

Current Status

Brandon McManus is currently a free agent. He is one of the most experienced kickers in the NFL and is widely regarded as one of the most accurate.
